Over 100,000 lights and growing at Santa’s Castle in Oakville

Don Jackson displays his love of Christmas throughout the holiday season, literally, with an amazing light show set to the sounds of Christmas carols.

The display features more than 110,000 lights, along with miles of extension cords. It all began when he was a boy helping his father decorate the house and has grown over the past 40 plus years.

Many of the decorative features that adorn 113 McCraney Street West home (just west of Sixth Line) – such as Santa’s Castle that has more than 1,000 lights alone – were handcrafted by Don himself.

The holiday tradition begins each Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends helping with the massive undertaking.
